Peec AI is a serious, well-funded tracker with some of the cleanest benchmarking in the self-serve field, and if tracking is all you need it is a good buy.

Peec’s own facts page says it is “not a chatbot, search engine, or content generator” and “not a generic SEO rank tracker”. Take it at its word on both counts: it is a measurement product, and a good one.
The gap
Where a monitoring tool stops
A monitoring tool tells you where you are and are not cited; an AEO provider changes the pages, sources and technical setup so those citations improve, and then re-measures to prove it.
Every Peec AI review we could find, including the ones written by rival trackers, lands on the same criticism. We quote them because a buyer should hear it from more than us; note that each is a competitor-owned blog and none of them is UK-based.

The pattern is not a Peec flaw so much as the category’s. A tracker is paid to describe. In a large team an analyst reads the description and briefs the people who write, publish and pitch. In a team of one to three there is no such person, so the chart says the same thing in month three as it did in month one. That is where a provider that closes the gaps earns its fee, and it is why AEOscore was built to carry on past the report.
An independent UK roundup makes the same point by omission: TechRound, Top 10 AI Visibility Tracking Software (Laliq Schuman, 26 June 2026) Lists Peec AI third of ten, after Profound and KIME, as "a solid entry point without enterprise price tags". Not one of the ten is a UK company, and the piece is about tracking only; nobody on the list fixes anything.

The scan fetches your robots.txt and gives a per-bot verdict for GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended and the rest. A blocked crawler means that engine cannot read a word you publish, so this is fixed before anything else. Usually a two-line change.

No: schema is basic technical housekeeping that helps machines read your pages cleanly, and it is not a reliable lever for AI citations on its own; the levers are crawlable pages that answer the buyer's question and third-party sources that name you.

Plenty of teams run a fix partner and a tracker. If you are starting from nothing, one AEOscore subscription covers both halves. AEOscore is a product of Goreblimey Ltd, a UK design and development agency trading since 2011 (company no. 07582417, Cheltenham). The named expert is Olly, its founder: AEO consultant and full-stack developer, 20+ years in search, who wrote the AEOscore software himself and runs every scan, score and strategy day. There is no account manager between you and the person doing the work, and the email is answered by him.
What has shipped: the six-engine scanner and score, the fix-plan writer, the crawlability check with generated llms.txt, rival radar, the social and listings finders, the monthly report, and the pages on this site, several of which are fixes our own scan of aeoscore.co.uk asked for. This page is one of them: the August 2026 scan flagged that no page on the site answered the Peec AI question, so nothing could be cited for it.
We do not yet publish before-and-after client numbers. The first twelve-week pairs are due in autumn 2026 and will be added here with dates.
